I am a female and I have hair on my back... embarrassing? something to be conscious about?

I do regular waxing but I wanna be able to wear open back shirts whenever it gets all hot and steamy outside. I never do so until I have waxed my back! Its not something I can do often. So my hair is long and I wear an open back shirt should I be embarrassed? How would you react to a girl w/back hairs? Do I need to be self-conscious about it?

Well you can easily do something abut it if it bothers you. Actually you probably just have a little too much adrogens in your body causing hirsutism. I have this problem on other parts of my body so I know what you are going through but mine are always covered with clothing (a symptom of PCO disease). If yours are covered up I wouldn't be concered, but like I said...if it bothers you, then do something about it :)

everyone has hair on their back I don't get why you are concerned is it like a lot of hair that is noticeable or something.  If it does not make you look like a ware wolf just leave it alone work with what you got girl.  May I also say that science can prove that people grow more hair in certain areas due to evolution in the human anatomy something may have happened to an ancestor of yours thus causing you to grow the extra hair as a precaution

How fitting that your avatar icon is male.  Yes, you should be embarrassed.  Don't go out in public without waxing.  I love all kinds of women, even ones with plenty of hair in other places, but on the face, back, or b*****s, it's disgusting.  Sorry.

Everyone has hair on their back -- some is just darker than others. Who cares, anyway? It's not like you can see it -- just ignore it.

no dont worry! everyone has back hair but if your hair is darker it shows up more seriously examine someone elses back it'll make you feel better theirs is just a little blonder and lighter thats all!
