I am a fraternal twin what are the chances of i having a twin?

i am a girl with a twin brother

i do not have a history of other twins in my family that i know of but i just want to know my chances?

my nan is a twin, so my chances were very slightly increased

I don't know but my grandmother had two sets of boy/girl twins. my father was one of the twins- my brother has a set of girl/girl twins. One of my dad' s twins sister  (not his twin) had a set of girl/girl twins.

I am also a twin/sister.

Kindof scary for my daughter because besides all of these twins -  her dad has a twin . His brothers (another set) are also twins. (None are the above are identical)

She already had one baby but I think is scared to try again. LOL !!!!   Do you blame her?  I for one cannot wait !!!!!!!

Your chances are no better than anybody else's.  Fraternal twins are most often random and since there is no history of twins in your family, that is probably the case. The only way to increase your chances of having twins is if you are over 35 or obese.  This is a natural increase.  The only twins in my family have been born to women 38 and over.
