I am a freestyle dancer and i need some advice (you dont have to be a dancer to help me)?

i am a freestyle dancer and i dance for a small dance school but i dont think im beign pushed to my full potenchal so i wanna move dance schools to a bigger one so i can get the most out of dance! but the only problem is all my mates are in my dance school and if i moive they will all hate me and one of them nows alot of **** about me and if i move she would have my life! what should i do?

The first thing you could do is talk to your instructor. Tell them and see what they suggest. Also, if you are thinking about moving to a different school talk to your mates. If they are really your friends then they should support you.

yeaaa i was at that point at sum time yoo cud eithaaa change to a different place or join a crew etc. as yoo no am lukiin for ppl but as yoo sed yoo live 45 mins away from me...av added yoo on msn so am sure yoo can make a decision but yoo should talk to ur intructor and all of ur mates first ...byee

Congratulations you are about to make a childish decision or and adult decision.

I told my kids well before they reached their teens that when they get older they will come to this same point; friends or future.

What you and my kids need to do is look at the big picture and select future. My son has the opportunity to go to a better school, fully paid food, rent, and tuition. Instead he is choosing to work full time, live in an apartment with friends and go to a smaller unknown school Podunk university. Why? Because he wants to stay with friends.

If you agree he is stupid for this than staying at your podunk university is just as stupid.

Go to the other school, if you want to excel you will find many people want you to stay back with them. Don’t let that happen to you. Choose friends and you choose mediocrity; you obviously don’t want to be average…do you?

If your friend was really your friend, she would understand. But, if you are worried that much, try talking to her and explain to her what the deal is. Also, try talking it out with your dance teacher.

Well if your "friend" that knows alot about you tells all if you decide to leave isnt really a "friend" to begin with. If you feel youre being held back you must move forward....if they get mad at you they arent your friends because friends understand and will want you to grow and expande you experience....you cant stay in the 5th grade cause your friends didnt pass....you get me?  If you ever are in Atlanta come to Studio Dance 411, its great for dancers and lots of people get noticed here and put in videos and concerts. dont let your friends dictate what you do....you are your own person.
