Not sure specifically about summer, but you could contact some of the following.   They require background check, and records which may add delay.

The first link is for UK jobs that start "now".

The second link is a list of Au Pair agencies in France, that list families in Britain.

Just keep away from student flats in London......!

Have you tried the agencies?  There are loads of au pair agencies where there are lots of families registered looking to have someone to come and work with them during the summer holidays.
