STUDY and don't get caught up in any drama.  Also, it wouldn't hurt to start studying for your SATs for Junior Year.

well it all depends, are other schools going to this high school, or just your middle school? it was easy for me becasue all my friends from my middle school went to the same high school as i did.

for high school, don't get caught up in boy drama, and focus more on your studies, because they start to matter more. i know it seems a little intense, but start brushing up on SAT or ACT vocab. I regret not doing that. Also, very important..be nice to your teachers, because when its time for college recomendation, they will come in handy =D. Otherwise, highschool is a great social experience, try and make more friends, and expand your horizons, who knows maybe you will meet the guy u wanna get married to or something. Don't worry, its fine. After the first week you will feel like youve been going to hight school all your life. Don't worry, enjoy it!!!

i was afreshman last year,and here are my personal experiences...

study for classes,, it helps a lot.

don't get caught up in drama, because most hs drama is stupid.

realize some friends will leave you and the true will stay.

get in the habit of doing hw, and doing clubs.

I disagree with everyone who says don't get caught in the drama!!

I mean obviously don't put yourself in the middle of it. But don't try so hard to avoid it that you don't have any fun!!

Do all your homework and study for tests and you will do well in school. But don't let schoolwork take over your life!!!

Join sports or clubs and hang out with your friends lots, and go to all the school activities like dances and stuff. Basically just have a good time because the years go by fast!!! Make sure you do your school work well though so that you don't have any regrets.
