You gotta get noticed, first and foremost. Play your hardest, outclass all of your peers. You can't play MLS until you're the best of the best. If you do that, everything else should fall into place. I'd advise talking to your coach and counselor as well. Just gotta be persistent.

If you want to play for Rutgers, besides becoming all-conference, all-state and the like, the best bet is to attend their camp.  Their coach will see you, evaluate you and even give you advice on what sort of a college you should be looking at.

If you are looking for more advice, like "practice, run, lift weights, and eat right" well you probably already knew that.  You get out of soccer what you put into it.
