  1. Well, I believe in most places you need to first make the Olympic Time Trial Cut.

Here were some 2008 Trial Cuts for Beijing:

Good luck, and I hope to see you in London 2012!

  2. most have already been selected,

check our british swimming and talk to your coach, what national/international events have you compeated in?

  3. you would hav to qualify

  4. the chances of making the us olympic swimming team......is ridiculously low. but if you are a good swimmer and you continuously make improvements in your times......and you think you may have a chance......then keep on swimming. just remember you have to place 2nd at the olympic trials (6th for 100 free and 200 free due to relays). thats a tall order! but if you think you can do it, just keep on pracitcing. continuously try and improve. improve on every little thing like flips and turns. starts and finishes. even Michael Phelps is constantly trying to perfect his strokes, his starts, his turns, his finishes.

  5. you have to qualify via an accredited event. enter competitions and such.
