I am a green card holder, but my husband is a US citizen. If I cant, can my husband sponser for my parents?

  1. hi... i'm sorry u can't bring your parents to be here.  US greencard holder only can bring his/her unmarried kids and spouse to be here.  ur husband cannot bring your parents too.  If I were u, I would apply becoming US citizen, then apply your parents.

    Your husband cannot sponsor them because they are not a member of his immediate family.

    Green card holders can only sponsor a spouse and unmaried children.

    You could sponser your parents when you become a US citizen, it will take 12 years though because there is a huge waiting line and they still deal with applications from 1996.
