  1. If you are a green card holder, you can apply through USCIS to sponsor your immediate family member.  You must go through USCIS.gov, contact an immigration officer and apply for a visa for him to come over.  Being a student has no bearing.  This is a time consuming process as you will be behind those people who are US citizens trying to bring family members over.  US citizens who sponsor family members get first preference over LAPRs like yourself.  To be sure, contact USCIS and go from there.

  2. Go to http://www.visajourney.com where you will find a forum called Bringing family menbers of Permanent residents to America ( or something like that) It's a great place to ask questions.

You being a student has no bearing on your case. What you need is to be able to show enough income to support him. You can apply now and when you become a citizen your application will become a priority and be processed faster but you can save some time by applying now.

  3. Perhaps, but it's difficult to tell since you're not a citizen. However, if your husbands holds a skill (i.e. I.T. analyst, software engineer) then it shouldn't be too difficult. I would try consulting your university, they might be able to work something out. Either that, or try seeking advice from an immigration lawyer.

  4. If you are a green card holder, you cannot petition him for F2 since you are not on F1. He may come himself as a student.
