I much prefer doing serious high tenor notes like lost in the wilderness from children of eden etc. But to my knowledge that is the only song with such notes that can show of my voice, suggestions for male songs which a high tenor/tenor like me could take advantage of and sing really well? thank you

  1. You can check out the website posted below. It has a ton of different audition songs (Broadway/Musical). It's a really great website to find audition pieces. It also tells you how overused some songs are in auditions, which is very helpful when trying to stand out.

    Good Luck!

  2. I just can't wait to be king!- lion king

  3. You should pick a song to suit the auditiong (right style, time period, composer if possible) but there are loads of good tenor audition songs out there, here are a few:

    - Being Alive (from Company)

    - Why God Why (from Miss Saigon)

    - Sunset Boulevard (from the show of the same name)

    - Anthem (from Chess, does tend to be a bit overdone so be careful)

    - Sit Down You're Rockin' The Boat (from Guys and Dolls)

    - Giants in the Sky (from Into the Woods)

    - Johanna (from Sweeney Todd)

    - Heaven on their Minds (from Jesus Christ Superstar)
