  1. Doesn't matter what your reasons were for dripping out, you're still a dripout.  Doesn't matter how intelligent you are, you're still uneducated.  So, yes, I might hire you--to clean up doggie-doo, at minimum wage or less.

Go back and get your GED, genius.

  2. Depends on the job you want. Some skills require at least a GED.

My son was bright and went for years to a private school where he got A's and B's. Later do to many factors, we were unable to keep him  in a private school. He returned to public school and failed almost every class in his first report card. He was bored to death and the teachers didn't mind because he was sleeping in class and not bothering them.

He went for his GED at age 15 and passed without any trouble.

You should at least get your GED.

He is now moving up in management in the casino industry. Not a doctor but a good steady job that is suited for him.

  3. Even given your answer to your last question I would still not hire you.  There are tons of people who get the sh*t beaten out of them in school.  It's no reason to drop out!  Talk to the teachers, principals, administration.  Find a way to transfer to another school.  Go finish your highschool diploma through a GED program.  It almost sounds like you took the easy way out and didn't work for other options that are out there.  You just gave up and that doesn't look good to me, and probably wouldn't look good to an employee.  I would suggest getting a starting job and get your GED.  And given the world today, I would also pursue a college degree, even if it is at a community college.  If you are that smart, you have nowhere to go but up so use your resources and make something of yourself!

  4. No.  I don't really want you to be smart, just obedient.

  5. The first thing that jumps out at me with your question..............is how modest you are!!!

Many brilliant people have never even been to school, I do not challenge either your IQ, capabilities, or that fact that you may have had difficult situations to deal with.

A truly gifted person probably needs to either be home schooled, tutored, or guided in order for them to be able to deal with others in a social setting.  Hostility breeds hostility....would I hire you?....if you can do the job, get the chip off your shoulder, and are punctual......yes......a little tolerance goes a long way...good luck to you. And yes I read your other answer, thank you for this question.

  6. No 2 hits to the balls for me because I am female. But your description is fairly accurate for even 28 years ago when I graduated. Only bullies just bragged about it, no youtube.

Fast forward a few years, I am the teacher, the game is still the same only I am expected to turn a blind eye to the athletes that are the bullies. (I don't).  So I get sidelined by an auto accident that leaves me in a wheelchair for months and walking like a crawdad.

So I notice how many kids quit or get kicked out, so I check into getting them a GED. Surprisingly enough there is a program at local community colleges called literacy coalition, where you test and with the help of a tutor that you choose, (your mom, aunt girlfriend, etc.) you learn at your own rate.

    No hassles, no BS

Then start with community college and prove your genius.

Also you can start community college without a GED. Put a homeschool code on your pell application where it says highschool attended.
