I need an objective for a coffee shop and for a restaurant where I am looking for a position as a waitress. Thank you!

  1. In my opinion, objectives on resumes are not needed. If you are adamant on having one, make sure it is specific to what your are trying to accomplish. For example, " Objective:  To obtain employment as a waitress".. you can edit by adding what type of position( f/t, p/t, seasonal, etc) . This is one I am sure you have come up with and if you felt it was corny or cheesy you are wrong because it is as specific as it can get.  An objective statement just states what you are looking for in your the job you are applying for and as of now, witnessing is your goal. But again, rethink adding the statement. No matter what people tell you, it isn't going to make or break the resume.  Good Luck !!
