You will mostly find jobs for hyperbaric medical nursing in the Capital cities including Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne (these I know for certain). Aside from the major public hospitals, some of the large sporting teams and pearling operations have their own private hyperbaric chambers (and may therefore employ a nurse).

You will only be able to get a job in Australia if the employer has not been able to find a suitably qualified Australian citizen for the job - they can then sponsor you for a visa to come to australia to work.

Don't let this put you off as we have a real shortage of nurses in many places in Australia - certainly it is the case here in Darwin- you may like to contact the nursing manager at Royal Darwin hospital to ask further about a job.
