I am a hypochandriac! and i have red eared sliders (turtels) and i touched them i forgot to wash my hands?

(question continued) -------- and i put my finger in my mouth and now im freaked out like crazyyyyyyyyyyyy im a HUGE hypochondriac OH YA the turtles have salminilla bacteria am i gonna be ok?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?

you will be fine...i hold my snakes all the time while i'm eating...also i used to take care of some turtles for a friend when he travlled...i would sit in the back yard and play with them and then usually get fast food on the way home and eat with out washing my hands...i haven't gotten sick yet.

I had 2 red ear slider turtles too. You'll be fine, just remember to wash your hands every time you touch them or anything that belongs to them, such as they're food, filter,  bridge,  ect.

You are fine. And, just so you know, not all turtles carry salmonella.

Probably, just drink lots and lots of water to get it out of your system for the next couple days. If you start to show symtons of samonella (diarrhea, abdominal cramps, fever, nausea, and/or vomiting), call a doctor right away. Just in case, here is some info on samonella.
