I am a junior golfer and i need to be able to be able to get free equipment, how would i be able to do that?

i have shot under par on nine holes and iv been playing for a year, people say i have a natural talent because i have never had a lesson and can hit straight drives about 270 or so, and my short game is good as well, not to brag or nothin lmao.

I would try getting a job at the golf course....like picking up balls or washing golf carts.  The more time you spend time at the golf course, the more people will get to know you and how you play.  You'll be surprised at what things happen if you work hard and people see that you take your golfing seriously.

I would play national tiered events...a little pricey, but such is golf.  Golf reps hang out at these events because it's gives them a chance at looking at the best players and they can evaluate talent at these sites since the fields are close to 100 players.    

Look into playing the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association)  it's like playing the PGA Tour for junior players.

Also, I would contact the companies you are interested in to let them know which events your playing so they can give you a look...typically these guys will look at scores and rankings.

Check out the USGA site. They have lots of programs. Also, just show up at the 1st tee with a 6 iron and a putter. Us old farts will see your passion for the game and stuff clubs in your bag.

Look up in the  trees and the rough, I've even found them in water when snorkeling for lost balls.  RScott

Play at a golf resort or club like I do.  They usually will load you equipment for free with your paid membership or game.
