I am a keen golfer and I was wondering if 6.5 Rifle shafts would be suitable for me?

Ok Tiger, 6.5 is Stiff not X-stiff. 6.5, Rifle is stiffer than a Dynamic Gold S300. But you need a 7.0 or Dynamic golf X100 equivalent, what Tiger plays.

as long as the flex is right for your swing speed, it doesn't really matter.  The shaft just holds the clubhead on.

What would be best is to go get professionally fitted, they would be able to get you the best shafts for your game Tiger!

erm, what is your average 6 iron distance? and do your balls go high low or normal? and what flex do you currently use?

assuming your on about royal precision, the shaft flexs

5.0 = Regular = R300 = <95mph

6.0 = Stiff = S300 = 95 - 110 mph

7.0 = X stiff = X100/ 300 = 110-120

so 6.5 would be good if you swing between 105 and 115!
