I am a liifeguard this summer i want to loose about 20-30 pounds this summer how much would i have to swim?

To lose one pound u need to swim at least 45 minutes or an hour.  u would have to swim like 30 hours.  actually you would have to swim a lot more because u eat food too.that would equal more pounds. it could take 175 hours to 230 hours with the exact amount of calories u should eat in a day.  so i suggest u swim and run and eat less calories then the average amount.  also jog run climb hike and whatever u can possibly think of.  because that is a lot of pounds to lose in 2 months.  do pushups, curl ups cruntchs[or something like that] and maybe even some situps if u want.  all of these will help u  lose 20-30 pounds in 2 months.  and don't jus do a few.  do alot. and also eat a lot less.

  3. you won't lose that by swimming, at least not in less than a year unless you change your eatting habits drastically. you need to run, run uphill or run stairs to zap it quick.

  4. Have you ever guarded before, because being in the heat all day you eat less.  I always dropped this much weight guarding and not changing anything.  Watch what you eat cut out sodas and that should be enough.  If you want 30lbs droppled in the first 4 weeks then you need to get in and swim  60-75 minutes a day 6 days a week
