I am a little chunky and want some abs, any ideas?

Like I said, I am a little chunky, but want some abs. Even if I don't end up getting abs, I at least want to have somewhat defined abominable muscles. Maybe a workout, a diet, perhaps?

  1. You should eat healthy and get involved in a good cardio workout. If I may suggest a workout, Karate is an all around great workout for the mind and body. Check out Karatesize.


  2. If it helps, your abs are already there (every ones are), hidden under a layer of fat. Now there are two things you can do to reduce the fat, diet and exercise. Increase your cardio workouts and decrease your calorie intake a little. If you want to get to get the abs to "pop" once you've lost the fat, two exercises I recommend are inclined crunches and hanging leg lifts (1 to 2 sets of 15-20 should be enough). One of the sets of hanging leg lifts (or part of the 1 set if you only do 1) is to angle your knees toward one side then the other, thus putting extra stress on the obliques. One final thing tho, a good portion of abdominals is genetic, so you may not be able to look like the guy on the cover of men's health/fitness, sorry.

  3. liposuction,or keep dreamin.

  4. Do some cardio 3-5 days a week and get on a nice diet you will see results.
