Ok so I am going whitewater rafting next weekend. I have never done this before so I'm a little nervous but I am super excited. What should I expect? Will you drown if you fall out? Advice? Tips? Anything? I am really excited but the closer it gets the more I'm freaking out.

  1. Whenever I've gone, they make you wear some type of lifevest. I mean, falling in isn't so bad. It's good to know how to swim. White water rafting is SO much fun and not scary at all. Good Luck and have fun!

  2. Hey! I was nervous and apprehensive the first trip on whitewater. Most rafting companies make sure that you are properly equipped for their water conditions. You need to be wearing suitable clothing. Glass guards, a beaked cap and canvas shoes are needed. Bring a waterproof bag with dry clothing or a warm sweater. Whitewater rafting is not absolutely safe.  The good companies have good records, inquire of yours. But remember, "Paddle your own canoe".

  3. Please relax. I understand you are anxious. If you fall off, try your best not to get exited, you will have a life jacket on. You will float. Listen to your instructor or guide. They will give you good advice.

You are about to experience a great adventure and you will Love it but you need to just relax and go with the flow and enjoy your time in the water.

White water rafting is so much fun but the first time you will be a little nervous but that is normal and to be expected. Do not let this feeling get in the way of having a good time.

    IT IS GREAT
