  1. The moderator of your Group can easily approve your message from the Spam folder, and hopefully the spam filter can "learn" from this action.

Our Group has enabled the spam filter, and so far it has been working very well. We receive a couple of dozen spam messages every day and they all go to the spam folder which is much easier to clear than the regular Pending folder.

We only have one member who rarely gets caught in the spam folder, I believe because he tends to post a very short message after quoting a very large previous message.

  2. it's a faulty spam filter- set group on new members moderate and turn off the spam filter

How do I turn Spam Filtering off?

    To turn Spam Filtering off:

Go to the Management section of the Group

Click on the Messages link under Group Setting section

Click on Edit link next to Posting and Archives

Select Off option under Spam Filtering

    Click on Save Changes button
