I am a mom, just got out of prison with no idea where to look for a job or housing any suggestions?

Contact the Elizabeth Fry Society which is similar to the John Howard Society for men. They should be able help you to find a place to live, assist you with finding a job etc. That's what they're all about. God Bless you as you begin your new life.

try the salvation army, and some of the faith base organizations. a job with a labor company is probably best, your felony history should not affect employment. it also depends on your state, because a lot of states have programs to assist released felons.
