I am a natural red head but i hate it. i am thinking of dying it light brown, but wot do u think ?

I need some advise on my hair, my natural colour or die it light brown? plz help me!?!

I am 69yrs, and me and my 4 brothers was all ginger hair,

I hated my colour, ...and now' my hair is white,  how I would give anything to have that colour back again,

I see it like this'  everybody has black or blond hair,

red hair looks different and its a nice colour, think again my dear

Hiya

You could try and use a temp hair dye that usually washes out after a few washes, you can also use fairy liquid if you didn't like colour as long as you do asap.

It also depends on your complexion, If you are fair then I wouldn't go to dark as it'll make you look washed out, but a light-mid brown might be okay.

Hope this helps as I dye my hair a lot. ;-p

Try some of those websites where you can upload a pic of yourself and change your hair. That way you can see if it suits you or not.

try going to a wig shop and trying some light brown colours on to see if you like it. but if you have got freckles, leave it.

No one is ever 100% happy with themselves, and I suppose everyone has a few niggles that they don't really like. If you are choosing to die your hair, I wouldn't say light brown is the perfect colour, because it will cause your roots to show, and it will be very visible of what your natural colour is. Go for a dark brown, some what of a chocolate colour, that always looks nice. However, if I am honest, I am sure you look beautiful the way you are, because no one is perfect, so just be yourself.

It's funny how people always want different hair to what they have. I'd love red hair. Mine's brown naturally and so boring!! Enjoy your gorgeous hair. But if you're still convinced you want to change it, maybe get highlights to tone it down a bit. That way it won't look odd if your skin is pale. It might be a shock if you just dye it brown. Go to a hairdressers and have it done professionally though, it'll be worth it.

Honey, if you are a natural redhead you should enjoy it!  It is unique and beautiful and there are women who spend hundreds of dollars every year trying to look like a natural red.

Hey, im a hairdresser an 1st ting u have to concider is ur face?

do u have many freclkles? do you have fair eye brows?

2nd a very lite brown wiil not cover red, it will come out brown but with tints of red ginger.

i think it should suit u but dont get a very light brown!
