Could this be from astigmatism?

  1. I have really bad astigmatism and I wear contacts occasionally.  With astigmatism, the lenses in your eyes are irregularly shaped, so your contacts need to not rotate around while they're in your eyes, or you won't be able to see.  The contacts I have are designed so that the bottom is slightly heavier and they will stay where they need to be instead of rotating.  I hope this is making sense!  They have three tiny lines at the bottom so I know which end is the bottom, but even if I don't get them lined up right, they will rotate into the right position since they're weighted.  You might want to talk to your eye doctor about getting that type of contacts.

  2. Possibly...it depends how much astigmatism you have.

But if your contacts are blurry...something is wrong, it could also be that they are fitting too tight.

You will have to go back and tell them , they should be able to see what the problem is.

Don't wait a week...contacts should be clear within seconds after putting them on. It takes a few days to get used to the feel sometimes, but your vision should be clear.

It's difficult to guess at a reason without even seeing your glasses Rx, and what they gave you in contacts.

  3. Yes, it might be. Or it might be becos that they have given u lesser of the degree that u need on the contacts. Check again with them to ensure that ur blurness is being solved.

  4. I wear contacts and have astigmatism also. If you are having blurry vision, you might just be getting used to the contacts. If the blurry vision lasts for more than a week, I would say go back to your eye doctor. There are many contact lens brands that offer contacts especially for astigmatism. Hope I can help!
