I am a new customer service rep and cannot login to the company communication server using Avaya IP Agent. I have downloaded and tried to install/uninstall/reinstall the program along with SP1 several times only to get an error message stating "cannot establish TAPI". I am using a brand new HP Pavillion running Vista (SP1). I have turned off every form of software protection on the machine in order to eliminate firewall/protection issues and I have also installed the latest Java Runtime Engine. Another element of this problem presents itself when after logging in to the company's internet website, when I try to login to their secure gateway (using Network Connect), the following error message is displayed, "nc.windows.app.23792". I'm guessing the two issues are related but I don't really know. Can you help?Thank-you, John Holland
