I am a new driver and I wat to use tom tom to get me to a town an hour away.

Question

Are the directions simple enough for me to follow and not get confused?

yes, u might also want to do mapquest as well as a back up plan until you get used to tom tom

They're super easy, just tell it where you want to end and it'll guide you there, telling you before you need to turn, so you can get ready, and even telling you if you go the wrong way. It's very easy to understand.

i dont think it could be much more simple, eg; "turn right"

take a map and a mobile phone as your back up but im sure you'll be fine.

yeah, it's really easy to follow, just make sure the directions are right before you start to follow them.

the tom tom i have talks and tells you "you will be turning right in 100 meters" then when you get like 20 meters away from the turn it'll say "turn right here"

of course it depends where you live and how many turns you'll be making/ how busy the traffic is (and if you're a good enough driver to switch lanes in time) but that really isn't very difficult, the tom tom gives you plenty of time. test it out by driving somewhere 15 minutes away first?

Yes... Its pretty self explanatory.

You drive and it tells you which way to go.

Yeah, it's pretty explanatory.

The best thing about tom toms is that you can dl voice packs.
