I am a new immigrant to Canada ,I intend to move in November,and I want to settle my family in Mississauga.?

Is Mississauga a good place to live in?.How much is the rent?,and what about jobs?.I am naval engineer with good experience for more than 18 years on board submarines.

If you are a naval engineer with many years experience on submarines, why would you look at Mississauga, where there are no active naval vessels and no sea?  Why not consider Halifax or Dartmouth or Saint John?  All are on the ocean, and the cost of living, houses, and rents are much less?

Plus, having lived in all, the people are much friendlier!
