  1. moderators or owners do not get special ID's or e-mail addys. whatever you've used to join that group is what's going to show no matter if you're a member or moderator. if it's yahoo ID you're concerned about, you can create an alias- if it's e-mail address, add a different address you're not so concerned with to your yahoo account.

generally speaking, you can not post from management. on a Yahoo group regardless if it's a freecycle or any type group, only 2 ways to post- from off the group or via your own e-mail.

  2. It doesn't work that way.  Your ID will always show whether you're a regular member, moderator or owner.

  3. It won't show you are a moderator but you can sign the post. Joe Blow

If you wish, and you have the right you can also tick the little box at the bottom of the message to send as a special message.  That way more members will receive your post.

  4. Use your email to post a message to the group and use a signature line that says your name, then under that write moderator/owner, and then under that write your group name.  At the bottom of all group sites are email addresses to use to for the group.  Use the one that says Post a message and your signature line will automatically show up in the post each time.
