  1. In my opinion get a Element. In my school, people judge others by what type of brand you skate with. Elements are pretty good quality and durable.

  2. element would be great that was my frist borad

  3. well if i was you i would go to a skate specialty store and ask them and they will steer you in the right direction

  4. Better try CBSE or ICSE board.

  5. get anything out of the following list and youll be set for any street course:

    deck:baker,almost

    trucks:independent

    wheels:spitfire,bones (52mm for street)

    bearings:bones reds

    griptape:black magic,mob

    hardware:shortys

    good luck!

  6. it doesn't really matter what you ride if you rip. but some board companies make much higher quality boards than others. Most of these companies advertise in skateboarder or Thrasher magazine.

But I've got to tell you just have fun. If you're having fun you're doing it right. I bet any pro would ride a rocket power board if it was all that was laying around. so get good with what you've got and do some research on what you want next. those magazines are a pretty good place to start.

don't let others tell you what is 'cool' that's something you should feel for yourself.
