I am a owner of a yahoo group, and I was wondering how do I get messages approved through me before posting??

I don't have any moderators at this time,but i'm looking the group is a marine girlfreinds support group if you are interested and would like to join or be a moderator, email me.........serious answers only. here is the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/semperfi_tomymarine

You can change your group settings to where you approve all messages.  This is how to do that.

Sign in to your group.

Click on Management.

In the Group Settings area, click on Messages.

Scroll down to Posting and Archives and click on Edit.

In the Moderation column, click one time on the circle to left of  "Moderated".

Then click on "Save Changes" at bottom or top of page.

I am just answering your main question about message approval.  Am not interested in becoming a member or moderator for your group.

All I can add is that if you go to the helps that yahoo has on your group for moderators/owners, you'll get good, fast advice.  Its helped me lots.
