I want to return to Argentina to visit my family. Is the consulate in L.A. the only place i can get a replacement passport? Or can I apply at a local field office? I live in Utah now. I need the application # and what forms of ID I need to get another passport. How long does this process take??? Please help!

  1. did you report the loss of your passport? you have to do that before applying for a new passport, go to the police station, make a report, take a copy of that report, that you will be sending to the consular services in LA,

here is the web page of the consulate,
