Question

i am a professional musician who uses Midi Files as backing. I recently had to buy a new laptop to play the files, and bought an ACER Aspire 5920.I have an external Creative Sound Blaster Soundcard.If I play the g=files through my PC External speakers all is fine, but if I put it through my amplifiers, I get terrible electronic sounds. I have tried just connecting from the audio out socket of thye laptop and the same thing happens.Any thoughts
