  1. An applicant for a working visa or work authorisation should present:

    1. a completed application form;

    2. a job offer from an employer in Ireland, corresponding to the designated skills category in which he/she claims to be qualified, stating the starting date and pay and quoting the employer’s Registered Number for Tax Purposes and the applicant’s passport number;

    3. a passport valid at least until the expiration date of the relevant working visa or work authorisation;

    4. a photograph and

    5. a visa application fee  or equivalent (not charged in the case of a number of nationalities) or a work authorisation application fee

    An applicant who is a nurse must also present a certificate of temporary or full registration issued to her/him by An Bord Altranais (The Nursing Board).

    Persons with job offers in the information and computing technologies sector must have third-level qualifications, ie.s a bacahelor's degree.

    Categories from which they allow non-EEA workers include:

    information and computing technologies professionals

    information and computing technologies technicians

    architects, including architectural technicians/technologists

    construction engineers, including engineering technicians

    quantity surveyors

    building surveyors

    town planners and

    registered nurses.

    Note: The work authorisations are for 2 years,  To stay longer, you have to renew it at the and reside in Ireland may be granted to holders of work authorisations at the end of two years at the Immigration Registration Office in Harcourt Square, Dublin provided that you are still employed and in good standing  with the government.
