First decide on a name for your business. Go to your local city hall and filling out the papers.  The business name has to be posted in the local newspaper to make sure that their is not another business with the same in your city.

Then you go to the Franchise Tax Board and they will issue you your tax ID.  You will be on their list and every three months you will receive a request for your earning under that business name.  You have to pay taxes to the state, so make sure that you add this amount on your service charges.

Post a flyer in public places; laundry mate, car wash, grocery stores bulletin boards, etc.  Have business cards printed up or you can do it yourself on the computer.
