go out and perform at different places

sell yourself and producers will eventually come looking for you

it wont happen overnight though

and buy some recording time,

make, or have a friend or anyone,

to design your beats, on a turntable etc.

record at a studio, try and have at least 4 tracks.

send out to all the studios you can think of.

if your smart you dont want to get signed....you want to create buzz and go indie. it's hard work though. if you get signed by a major might aswell drop the artist from rap-artist and add ringtone in front and -er at the end. them A&Rs are snakes.
