I am a secretary at an insurance office. i am the ONLY worker there. what i do is open and close the business.

everyday, monday thru friday. what i do is type, file, use phone, and get policies. i do more things like fax and call people because hes hardly here so i practicly do everything.i have been working here for 2 months. how much do you think i should get payed? it is only part time. also everytime i need help with something all he tells me is call customer service... y? because he forgot how to do it. i feel like i know more than him. please help me i really need this thank you!!! :)

  1. Find yourself a new job.  Then the last time you lock up the office, toss the keys in through the mail slot and don't look back.  Oh, and don't consider giving 2 weeks notice - sounds like he wouldn't see the written notice anyhow.


  2. First, I doubt you know more than him. You didn't even spell "paid" correctly.

    It's as simple as this....if you don't like your job, give a 2 weeks notice and find a new one. Don't just walk out....that's childish. He's considerate enough to give you a paycheck in return for your services to his business. The least you can do is be considerate enough to let him find a replacement for you.
