  1. This is quick, nutritious and filling.

Layer Activia yogurt, fresh berries and granola (1/4 cup).  It's yummy.

  2. Oatmeal is a very good answer.  I don't like oatmeal though, so I cook muffins on Sunday night and they last me all week.  I have even made cinnamon rolls the night before and just microwave them in the morning.  Almost anything you can bake the night before and just reheat in the morning.  Pancakes and bacon also reheat very well.

  3. I can make the follow breakfast (and feed two dogs!) in five minutes flat.

Scrambled eggs and toast!  The eggs have all kinds of wonderful nutrients and with the enriched bread we have in the US you get all those wonderful B vitamens and folic acid.

But if you like yogurt, buy some and open one in 2.5 seconds and THEN pay attention in class!

    Happy Senior year!

  4. Hi, well if you want something filling then i think you should go for something like wheetabix or ready break, but if you are up for a breakfast that is not very healthy but is very filling then i would recommend scottish pancakes with golden syrup and fresh fruit. xx

    :):) yummmm

Hope i help, Good luck :)

  5. SUMMERTIME OMELET

You can make this omelet as I do, from whatever happens to be in the vegetable section of your refrigerator: carrots, spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, bell peppers, green onions, etc. It is hard to imagine any vegetable that wouldn't work. Some people may think this is a lot of ingredients to combine with only 2 eggs, but the quantities are fairly small and the volume is reduced by sauteing.

    FILLING:

2 tsp. olive or corn oil or unsalted butter

1/2 c. or a bit more thinly sliced fresh vegetables (see suggestions above)

    Salt & pepper

2 cherry tomatoes, cut in half

    OMELET:

    2 eggs

    1 tsp. cold water

    3 drops Tabasco sauce

2 tsp. unsalted butter or 1 tsp. butter & 1 tsp. corn oil

1 tsp. finely chopped fresh herbs: your choice of tarragon, basil, oregano, chervil, dill or cilantro

1 oz. grated cheese (I enjoy med. sharp Cheddar)

Place an 8 inch nonstick pan over medium heat, add the oil or butter and when warm, add the 1/2 cup of vegetables, tossing with a wooden spatula until they are tender but not limp. Spinach should be added only in the last 20 seconds. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

Wipe out the pan. With a fork, beat together the eggs, water and Tabasco sauce until blended. Again, heat the pan over medium heat, add the butter or oil then the herbs and immediately pour in the beaten eggs. Let sit on heat for 5 seconds, then grab the pan handle and start to swirl the egg mixture in the pan slowly, placing attention to distributing the herbs evenly.

With a wooden spatula, pull the outside of the eggs toward the center, tilting the pan to allow the uncooked egg to spill into the pan. When the eggs have set, you can flip them if you're feeling adventuresome, or not if you're not. (This depends on how softly cooked you like your eggs.)

To fill, distribute the cheese quickly in a line down the center of the omelet and follow with the cooked vegetables and the tomatoes. Slowly slide the omelet onto a heated plate until about half is on the plate and half is still in the pan. Then, using the pan to help, fold the other half of the omelet over the top of the half that is already on the plate.

  6. Oatmeal is always a good, long-lasting breakfast. Make sure you use the old-fashioned kind, not instant or minute.  And the way to have it ready with little to no effort in the morning?  Buy a high quality thermos.  The night before, just before bed, fill the thermos with boiling water and immediately put on the lid.  Leave it sit for 2-3 minutes while you get everything else ready.  This allows the thermos to preheat.  Then, empty out the water and put in 1 cup of boiling water and 1/2 cup of old-fashioned oats.  Put on the lid and enjoy your sleep.  In the morning you will have your breakfast waiting for you.

Change up your oats by adding apple slices or chunks, raisins, cinnamon, pecans, walnuts, granola, craisins, blueberries, almonds, etc.

  7. bagel and cream ch., or biscuit with ham, egg, and watever.

  8. the good thing to do is set up your breakfast in the morning so it won't take time to get it out. the quickest breakfast is probably a donut or a bagel hope it helps!!!!

  9. bagel.....

  10. Bagels with Cream Cheese, A glass of Milk, a tangerine.

  11. Oatmeal is of course one of the top choices. It can be done very quickly but don;t do the instant or the packets. They are more processed and don't stay with you as long and even the long oatmeal is pretty quick.

Add in extras like chopped apples, strawberries, banana's and nuts, a dallop of peanut butter, dreid fruit, brown sugar and cinnamon etc....

Or eggs with toast and a protien of some kind will be good. If you need to eat it on the go then wrap it up ina torilla and add some salsa.

Precook bacon on Saturday or Sunday and wrap in papertowels then put in a plastic bag and it is pretty much ready to go in the morning.

If you overslept one morning then have a bagel or english muffin (whole grain would be best if you like them) and some peanut butter. Add in an apple or banana and a glass of milk and there ya go.
