I am already enrolled in pre calculus for a college credit because i originally was interested in physical therapy, but now i am more interested in OT, should i still take the course anyways so i don't have to in college? And what other courses are required?

  1. I am an occupational therapist who graduated in 1994, so I am sure that the coursework has changed a little bit.  However, I find it very helpful to get yourself well educated in the sciences - physics, anatomy and physiology, and neuroanatomy are all required coursework (yes, and all the dissections that go with it) and some colleges require chemistry as well.  There is a minimum math requirement to get in the program, but while you are in the program, you will also have to take statistics.  Abnormal psychology and human development are also requirements.  Good luck, it's a great profession - I couldn't imagine doing anything else for a living!
