I am a social worker who wants to help at-risk youth. Does anyone know of a job for me in NYC?

Have worked with youth involved in criminal justice system, in foster care and adoption, independent living and am very comfortable as a social worker. I am also an athlete and can help youth from a sports and a social service position.

With your talents, why not check out the social service agencies in your area.  You can try United Way, they have lists of organizations that do that type of work.  Maybe the school system in your area could use your talent in educating the youth in their school..

Maybe start an after school program for high schoolers to keep them out of gangs and drugs.  Start a sports after school program.  Maybe you could write for grants to start this.
