I am a sophmore at my high school i wanted to play jv football ?

But my Dad said no because i got 1 c on my report card but anyway i was thinking that i might play varsity when i am in 11th grade i am 6-1 210 pounds and i was thinking that i might be able to play LB

You have a good size to play LB, but you  also have to have pretty good speed and strength to guard TE's on pass plays and bring down RB's.

well when ur 6-1 in jv,its usually WR  or QB.if u have speed then there are alot of positions u can go out for

Should really should convince you father to let you play.

I would pitch him some options. Like sign a contract that you will study every night or do more choirs around the house.

Let him know that football will make you a more disciplined person and football would teach you how to be part of a team.

You should be playing outside linebacker at that size. If you have wheels you could play tailback or fullback as well.
