i want to play rugby for a club here in the uk. i played for the univesrity of pretoria 1st team rugby in south africa and was chosen to play for the craven week. i want to settle in the uk. i have been engaged to a uk citizen and we have been living together for 2 years now. we are getting married in south africa next month. how can i get permament residence in the uk. how can i apply for british citizen ship now that i will be married to a uk citizen. my mother also wants to move to the uk from south africa as my father died and she wants to be near my future wife and myself here in the uk. can i earn money playing rugby in the uk? how can i get in touch with francios pienaar? any other profesional rugby players out there from south africa that can help me. i want to stay in the uk. i want to apply for permanent residency here. how? where? please help....

  4. if your around london then london irish. wthey are a mixture of irish and mainly south african player through all grades.

    if you are good enough then am sure they would give you a contract after a while with one of their junior teams

  5. Find A Welsh grandparent and apply to the WRU, should have no problem.

  6. Call the home office and get details on how to stay here as a spouse of a uk citizen.most towns have a rugbyclub so join them and wait till you get spotted at tryouts or whatever.Hope this helps

  7. I don't know much about getting citizenship.

    But you can earn money playing Rugby here, you need to be playing professionally so if you're good enough there's nothing stopping you.

    Then for the Rugby, it depends on where in the UK you are based? If you search for Rugby clubs online in your area you're bound to find a team to play for.
