  1. can you wear a swimcap?

  2. You might up the Omega3s. Take about a tablespoon of ground flax seed daily. You can add it to a salad, yogurt or cottage cheese. Grind some up in a cheap coffee grinder and keep refrigerated after it is ground. Fish oil capsules are also a good source. This should help at the cellular level.

  3. just wash it after you get out of the pool, if that doesnt work then wash it again until it obeys

  4. What I do is put conditioner in my hair, then shampoo, and then condition again every night! it makes my hair all better again!

  5. you could use leave in conditioner and you apply it when your hair is wet after a shower

  6. take your regular condition and saturate your hair with it not a leave in but what you use after shampooing take a shower cap and cover your head and sleep with it in your hair all night long then in the am when you get up hop in the shower and rinse it out I tried this idea given to me from a fellow co worker and it helped a lot my hair is so dried up from over styling etc...

  7. Shampoo and condition your hair after every practice.

WET your hair with clean water before you get in the pool. You could use conditioner too after you wet it, but conditioning before wetting won't help. Hair is basically like a sponge - when dry it absorbs water, clean or clorinated. If the sponge is already full of water, it can't absorb more. Conditioner is supposed to lock the moisture inside, but if you don't ahve much moisture inside, it won't help much.

Use oil treatment once a week. Your hair is losing its natural oil due to pool water.

  8. I love ultraswim shampoo. I don't know about the conditioner, but the shampoo does wonders. I apply it like normal shampoo, right when I shower after swimming. I personally like the paul mitchell conditioner, but garnier fructis is good too. Pantene isn't bad at all either. I don't have a special trick, but sometimes I only partially rinse out the conditioner, or after shampooing my hair, do whatever else you do in the shower, get out, dry my hair, and take a dime sized drop of conditioner, rub it on my hands and run my hands through my hair. works for me.

    good luck!
