  1. sprint the first 60m (you don't loose any energy in the first 6 seconds of a run) stride out the back side of the race then sprint and use all you got for the last 100m to 150m (depends on your endurance)

sorry if you already knew all that but hope it helps.

    Good Luck!

  2. hey. well sipping gatoraide wont do a lot its take 3 hours for the carbohydrates 2 get into your system.

but i would as others have said go hard round the first bend then stride it out the when get onto the straight give it all you have got.

  3. relax yourself before your run. calm down, drink a little bit of gatorade or water, not alot just a sip. and now, what could slow you down is that you get tired so you slow down a bit, which can really change your time. so instead don't start at your fastest sprint. start at a fast run, then as you go, don't think to much, be relaxed, breathe in on one step and on the other breathe out through your entire run. breathe in through your nose, breathe out through your mouth, so your breathing should be fast but dont breathe crazy. now as you're running speed up and dont slow down, keep your head high and say to yourself it'll be over soon. just keep going and push yourself hard. practicing before you time yourself by running everyday can help yourself.  just keep pushing yourself.

  4. umm train hard...

  5. i would really try to build up your core. you would be shocked on how much a strong core and back can help.

    good luck!
