I am a tutor and feel left out in the classroom most of the time. Anyone else experience this?

I was a tutor for the first time last year and am going back this year. Most of the teachers treat me like an outsider. there is one in particular who doesn't want a tutor in her class, and she's made this clear.Anyone else experience this?

(by the way, I have 2 college degrees and am doing this work until i can find something better).

Some people feel threated by your talents. Try taking the children you tutor outside of the classrooms into the library or something so you won't feel as though you are intruding in their space. You can't have everyone like you but there are a few people there that do. Don't worry about it to much. Continue to do the good things you are for the kids.
