and i am going to the philippines this coming tuesday. so i was wondering if i need to apply for a tourist visa to stay in philippines for only 20 days. i have already booked the flight and everything but i am not sure if i need to apply for a tourist visa. do i?

I DO NOT THIK SO BECAUSE YOU ARE A RESIDENT, ONLY AMERICAN CITICEN NEED A PASPORT

It really depends on your nationality.But usually you will be issued tourist visa upon arrival in the Philippines.It will be stamped on your passport before leaving the airport.

Addition: I'm talking about your passport issued by your home country.

Check with the Philippine government website.  It is determined by you nationality.  A bit silly leaving it this late, isn't it?
