    You soon will and it would be a good idea to get one but as of now you DO NOT.

You do not nedd passpoets totraveltomexico by LAND at this time...you can use aphotoI.D.and your birth certificateand your Momcan use aphoto I.D.and her green card.  SHE should have apassport from her homecountry at all times...as all permanent residents should.If she does not haveone, she should apply as soon as possible at the nearest consulate of her home country.
