  1. just eat healthy foods and try to eat a different meal that you've never had at least once a week and get to now new foods

  2. eat more meat

  3. Drop your starches, Bread, Potatoes, Pasta, Rice etc. Except at Breakfast.

Add in more fresh RAW veggies

1/2 your peanut butter consumption it's pretty high if fats.

    1) Start Lunch & Dinner with a huge(2 cups) of Fresh Raw Veggie Salad with a Low Fat dressing

example: 1 1/2 Cups Romaine, 1/4 cups Cole slaw mix(has green, red cabbage & carrots) 1/4 cup Baby Spinach, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, now any other raw veggie you like. You will be surprised at what you can eat raw & like it!! Only after eating this, eat a cooked food.

    2) Eat a BIG Breakfast, makes a world of difference on your metabolism for the whole day.

    3) Exercise 20 minutue walk, same on a rebounder or treadmill. Yoga or other stretching exercise. 1 of my favs in AM Yoga with Rodney Nee,,it's a short, gentle DVD.

    Slainté (to your health)

  4. eat 2-3 servings of fruts, 3-5 of vegetables, no more than 4 of grains(bread, cereal, etc.) 1-2 of legums. not too many nuts, try to eat about 40-60% raw foods. check out: www.compassionatecooks.com and www.living-foods.com

  5. Check with a doctor to see if there is a medical condition, dietitian can also help to select the food best for you. I think every thing you mentioned is good, may be you need to moderate on peanut butter bread and potato. Stay away from soft drinks and add beans to your diet.

  6. eat more protein.....soy, tofu, seitan, grilling season start making some veggie burgers

  7. you should definetly eat everythingelse besides animals.  it is better to stay away from pastas, but everything is ok in moderation.  just eat small portions every 3 hours and exercise regularly, that should increase your metabolism and help u loose wait.

  8. B12 is a vitamin that might help. The only vegetarian source is a supplement. B12 occurs naturally in some meats and shellfish. It can increase your metabolism.

I would add more fresh fruits and veggies also.

  9. Watch your calorie intake (no lower than 1200 but you'll have to determine the max you can eat and still lose weight, based on your activity level).

You can still get lean protien, fruits/veggies, whole grain products, and plenty of water (just as is recommneded for meat-eaters).

Try to avoid 'white' products (white flour, sugar, rice, potatos, etc).

On top of that, exercise regularly and you should be on your way!

  10. Well those are very healthy foods. But you need to do everything in moderation, like balancing every meal. You need a lot more calcium. You need to drink low fat milk and low fat yogurt... eat low fat cheese and whole wheat crackers. You are good with fruits... eat plenty of that. You need colorful veggies, and lay low on the potatoes. They are good for you though, and I would recommend sweet potatoes, they have more vitamins. Eat beans and tofu and veggie burgers for protein.  Drink lots of water, and just eat lots of fruits, veggies and balanced amounts of protein, whole grains, and heelthy fats like olive oil. Good luck!

  11. Eat more raw vegetables.  When you cook a veggie, it's often accompanied by oil or some condiment that's high in fat and calories.  To avoid this just eat raw.

Avoid peanut butter.  Instead use margarine (which generally contains only half the calories of peanut butter).

Eat smaller meals, more often throughtout the day.  Try 5 small meals a day if you're up to it.

Exercise is very important, people should be exercising for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week.  There are a ton of different ways to motivate yourself for exercise.  Go out and find a video that looks fun to you:  yoga, tae bo, pilates, buns of steel, richard simmons.  Go running or walking briskly after dinner, this may aid in better digestion as well. If possible, walk or bike to work or to the store instead of driving.

Think positively and try not to look at the scale very often.  Depression can inhibit weight loss.
