  1. No it is not true.  If you have received an unsolicited email, stating you have won then this is a SCAM. If you click on the below link this site confirms various email scams hitting the internet and provides an online form for the reporting of such, with links for your own country.

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Please remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace.

  2. If you actually won something, you shouldn't have to send anything to get it. If you do, it's a scam. Ignore it.

  3. Do not send them any money!!!  If it was legit you would not have to send anything to get your winnings.  It sounds like a scam big time.

  4. Did you actually sign up for that lotto? Its probably a scam, if he wants your money first, then it most definitely is a scam, don't do it - he just wants $250

  5. Did you play the lotto game he mentioned?

I know the guy, send the money to me, and I will send it to him. I will need cash and I need to charge you a fee to use my credit card - $25.00 ok with you?

  6. I get junk mail all the time it is not for real its junk they are just tryin to rip ya off dont fall for it.Want to know something funny i won too  but i did not fall for that they are trying tall kinds of ways to get money and that is one of them

  7. Its a scam.  Don't reply.

  8. SCAM, do nor respond or give out any personal info.  This same e-mail was rec. by thousands of people. Why do you think he has not gotten back to you.....no credit card and your $250 would have gone in his pocket. Do you not wonder why people claim you have won $1 million dollars for no reason what-so-ever. Unless you have bought an foreign lottery ticket or entered a sweepstakes, no one is simply going to hand out that kind of money. It`s a rip-off, don`t be a victim.
