it depends on how  much property you have (cars, bank accounts, etc) and what the income limit is in your state. I recommend going in to  your local office to apply. Won' hurt!

I would go to school for better education and then find a better paying job, but again that's just me.

Each state is different.  Check with your local social services office to see what the qualifications are and if there are other programs that can help (Section 8 housing,m food stamps, WIC, etc.)

i say you should see if you can be accepted because it could really help. and that way you aren't under so much pressure
