I am a writer and I plan on moving to CA. How do I get an agent?

I currently have 2 books, 1 movie script, and a TV show pilot. I'm Canadian, so I'm a Writers Guild of Canada member. I plan to move to CA for a few months and get an agent. Any suggestions?

Get the "Writer's Market". You should be able to get an agent before you come. I would not come just for that. You should have some sort of plan of what you want to accomplish while you're here, to be most effective. Also, realize that it's probably more expensive to live here than where you're at. Good luck.
