You should write about equality and ignorance.

Too many people make racist and anti-homosexual comments every day.  April 25th was the annual Day of Silence: it exists for all of the people who are afraid to come out due to the violence and hatred towards LGBTQ people.  People need to stop saying "g*y" as a synonym for "stupid."  Also, people should know that everyone is different.  During spring break this year, the band and choir of a Wisconsin school traveled to New York City, and the students were horrible.  They would stare at the African Americans, they'd laugh at the Jewish people, and I doubt that they even knew what Asians looked like.  When a school is 98% Cacasian, something must be done to make these students open-minded.
